dr. pepper in england is not the same. it tastes like a horrible diet drink. this the english diet version. i can only imagine how bad it is. the doctor would not approve....
in amsterdam they've banned smoking cigarettes inside. i found that to be a funny thought process....
"sausage" in germany. trying to eat this looked like that scene in "nothing but trouble" where dan akroyd as the judge is eating the hot dog. ugggghhhhh.....

the singapore airport is the most ridiculous airport i've ever seen. here are pics of the coy pond at the gate (note the "no fishing" sign) and the butterfly garden. there was also a free movie theater...

and that's it. we've been out of the country for over a month and we still have two weeks to go. i miss the USA, but we found a mexican restaurant in auckland yesterday that, by american standards wasn't that great, but totally did the job considering how long its been since we've had any. didn't find any sumatran rat monkeys, though.

i know what you mean. traveling around can be really fun and rewarding, but it usually makes me appreciate home more.
i've also had 'mexican' food in some weird places around eastern/northern europe that were horrible, but tasted good at the time.
ouch! i'm curious on the body part, as well.

its the back / inside of my thighs. they're a little blacker now.
